Stay and PlayNiseko is a resort paradise. Here you will have time all to yourself. Our Resort House is perfect for enjoying the entire Niseko area. The true pleasure of Niseko winter. Where else in Japan would you find so much powder snow and such big skiing slopes? Not just skiing, cross-country telemarking, and snowboarding, but also sledding, snow ball fighting, making snowmen, walking over a new deep-snow area with snowshoes are all good times in Niseko. By road or rail, the Niseko area is two and a half hours south west of Sapporo city, located in Hokkaido, Japan's northern island. Boasting a great village atmosphere to rival any European resort, Niseko provides the perfect base for skiing in Japan throughout the northern winter. Niseko is a high-tech ski area consisting of four ski resorts spread over 40km of runs and serviced by 38 lifts, all with one common lift pass. Most of the chairlifts have protective weather hoods. The mountain ranges offer 1,000 vertical meters of immaculately groomed runs, comprising 30% Beginner, 40% Intermediate, 30% Advanced and some of the best resort powder skiing on the planet. A 4-person express gondola leaves from the resort centre and lifts you 500 vertical meters in under 10 minutes. On a clear day the views from Niseko are absolutely breathtaking; snow as far as the eye can see, all the way to the ocean's edge. Niseko is regarded by the Japanese as the premier ski destination. |
